BJP Leadership Reviews Youth Outreach and Seven State Elections
Party president Nitin Nabin met senior BJP figures to develop a youth strategy and assess preparations for Assembly elections including Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Gujarat.
Bharatiya Janata Party president Nitin Nabin convened senior leaders on Saturday, August 29, to formulate a national youth-outreach plan and review preparations for forthcoming Assembly elections.
Party sources said the electoral discussion covered seven states. Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Gujarat were among the contests on the meeting’s agenda.
Newly appointed BJP Yuva Morcha president Hemang Joshi attended. The gathering also brought together three former leaders of the youth organization: Anurag Thakur, Poonam Mahajan and Tejasvi Surya.
Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw participated alongside Smriti Irani, the former Union minister who was recently named a BJP national general secretary.
Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi and Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma were also present. The party did not immediately publish detailed decisions, campaign assignments or a timetable emerging from the discussions.
